Parenting – Active Respectful Parenting

Helping children become separate, responsible people who can one day function on their own is the goal of all parents. Happy, healthy interaction with their children is a goal all parents can attain. Parents can develop a variety of positive and non-violent ways to deal with situations that can lead to abuse and injury if not handled properly.

Active involvement in the complex life of teens is one of the greatest challenges of parenthood. At a time when family communication and mutual respect are most needed, parents and teens are often forced to live in confusion and emotional isolation. Let us assist you in preparing teens and preteens to courageously and responsibly face the challenges of young adulthood.
